Speed Dial
To program or change a speed dial number:
1. Dial the toll-free number printed on the card back from any touchtone phone in the U.S., U.S.V.I., or Puerto Rico.
2. Listen for prompt and enter card number. Verbal instructions are given:
"Please enter the area code and phone number you would
like to call now.
For other features, please press the star [*] key."
3. Press the star [*] key for a main menu listing of available enhanced features.
(All standard and enhanced features available on the card will be listed verbally).
4. Press five [5] to program or change a speed dial. Verbal instructions are given:
"Please enter a two-digit speed dial number between twenty-one [21] and ninety-nine [99].'"
This two-digit number, once programmed, may be used to recall or "speed dial" the full ten-digit domestic or international phone assigned to it.
5. Enter a two digit number, as directed:
"Please enter the area code and telephone number for this
speed dial."
6. Enter a domestic number, including area code, or an international number, including 011+ country code. Once a valid number is entered, hear prompt:
"Your speed dial number has been saved."
7. At this time a new speed dial number may be programmed, or the speed dial function may be exited and a phone call may be placed. Verbal instructions are given:
"To program another speed dial number, press one. Or press
nine [9] to exit
this menu to place a new call."
Note: If the two digit speed dial number entered (in step five above) has already been assigned to a phone number, the following warning prompt will be heard:
"The two digit speed dial you entered is already programmed. The telephone number is...(phone number). To overwrite this speed dial, press one [1]. To enter a new speed dial, press two [2]. Or press nine [9] to exit this menu to place a new call."
To delete the old phone number assigned to the speed dial and replace it with a new phone number (while keeping the same two digit speed dial code), choose option [1]
or...
To resave the old phone number assigned to the two digit speed dial number entered, choose option [2]; a new two digit speed dial number will be requested, followed by instructions to enter the destination phone number.
To place a call using speed dial:

"Please enter the area code and phone number you would
like to call now.
For other features, please press the star [*] key."
3. Enter the two digit speed dial number assigned to the desired destination phone; the phone number will be automatically dialed.
Note: Both pre-programmed speed dial numbers and user-programmed speed dial numbers are accessed in the same manner; i.e. above three steps.
Cost: There is no charge for programming or changing speed
dial numbers. When a speed dial number is entered to place a call,
the call will decrement at the same per minute rate as the destination
phone number assigned to the speed dial (i.e. if the speed dial
calls a domestic number, it will decrement at the card's domestic
rate; if the speed dial calls an international number, it will
decrement at the per minute rate for the country where the call
terminates).
